1. Hizmetin tanımı

Tolka; yazılı mesajları, sesli ve görüntülü görüşmeleri ve 2–10 kişilik toplantıları, herkesin kendi dilinde anlayabileceği şekilde canlı çeviren bir iletişim uygulamasıdır. Hizmet web uygulaması ve mağaza uygulamaları üzerinden sunulur. Özellikleri, desteklenen dilleri ve kullanım sınırlarını zaman içinde değiştirebiliriz.

2. Hesap

• Hesap açmak için 16 yaşından büyük olmanız ve doğru bilgi vermeniz gerekir.
• Hesabınızın ve şifrenizin güvenliğinden siz sorumlusunuz. Hesabınızla yapılan işlemlerden sorumlu tutulursunuz.
• Hesabınızı başkasına devredemez, başkasıyla paylaşamazsınız.
• Hesabınızı istediğiniz zaman Ayarlar’dan silebilirsiniz; bu işlem geri alınamaz.

3. Kontör (dakika paketleri) ve ödeme

• Sesli ve görüntülü görüşmeler, toplantılar ve yüz yüze tercüman kontör (dakika) ile ücretlendirilir.
• Birebir aramada: ücreti arayan kişi öder. Görüşmenin her dakikası arayanın kontöründen 1 dakika düşer; aranan kişinin kontörü hiç azalmaz, bu kullanım ona hediyemizdir.
• Toplantıda: ücreti toplantıyı açan (düzenleyen) kişi öder. Toplantının her dakikası, düzenleyen hariç toplantıdaki kişi sayısı kadar dakika düşer. Örnek: düzenleyen dahil 5 kişilik toplantı 1 dakika sürerse düzenleyenin kontöründen 4 dakika düşer. Katılımcıların kontörü azalmaz, bu kullanım onlara hediyemizdir. Kişi sayısı toplantı sırasında değişirse o anki sayı esas alınır.
• Yüz yüze tercümanda: yalnızca konuşulup çevrilen süre, uygulamayı kullanan kişinin kontöründen düşer.
• Aynı dilde konuşulan görüşmeler de kontörden düşer.
• Kontör, görüşme sürerken saniye hassasiyetiyle düşer. Kontörünüz biterse görüşme sona erer.
• Dakika paketleri uygulama mağazasının (Apple, Google, Microsoft, Huawei) kendi satın alma sistemi üzerinden alınır. Ödeme, fiyat, vergi ve iade koşulları ilgili mağazanın kurallarına tabidir.
• Satın alınan kontör başka bir hesaba aktarılamaz ve para olarak geri ödenmez; yasal haklarınız ve mağaza iade kuralları saklıdır.
• Hesabınız silindiğinde kalan kontör silinir.

4. Çeviri hakkında önemli uyarı

• Çeviriler yapay zekâ ile otomatik üretilir; hatalı, eksik veya yanlış anlaşılır olabilir. Ortam gürültüsü, aksan, hızlı konuşma ve bağlantı kalitesi sonucu etkiler.
• Tıbbi, hukuki, acil durum, güvenlik ve finansal konuşmalarda çeviriye tek başına güvenmeyin.
• Gizli bilgilerinizi, ticari sırlarınızı, şifre, kart ve kimlik bilgilerinizi paylaşmayın. Konuşmalarınız yazıya çevrilmek ve çevrilmek üzere hizmet sağlayıcılara gönderilir.
• Çevirinin doğruluğu veya uygunluğu konusunda garanti vermeyiz.

5. Yasak kullanım

Aşağıdakileri yapmanız yasaktır:

• Yasalara aykırı, tehdit, taciz, nefret söylemi, şiddet veya çocukları istismar eden içerik paylaşmak.
• Dolandırıcılık, aldatma, spam, kimlik veya sahte kişi taklidi.
• Başkasını rızası olmadan aramak, sürekli rahatsız etmek veya konuşmalarını izinsiz kaydetmek.
• Başkasının hesabına izinsiz erişmeye çalışmak.
• Hizmeti aşırı yüklemek, engellemek, otomatik araçlarla kötüye kullanmak, güvenlik önlemlerini aşmaya veya tersine mühendislik yapmaya çalışmak.
• Hizmeti yasa dışı bir amaçla kullanmak.

Bu kuralları ihlal eden hesapları önceden bildirmeden kısıtlayabilir, askıya alabilir veya kapatabiliriz. Başka kullanıcıları engelleme özelliğini kullanabilirsiniz.

6. Toplantılar

• Bir toplantıya en fazla 10 kişi katılabilir.
• Toplantıya yalnızca hesabı olan kullanıcılar, düzenleyenin verdiği kod veya bağlantı ile katılır. Kodu paylaştığınız kişilerden siz sorumlusunuz.
• Toplantıyı düzenleyen kişi toplantıyı başlatır, bitirir ve siler. Düzenleyen çıktığında toplantı herkes için sona erer.
• Toplantı kontörü düzenleyenden düşer; katılımcılardan düşmez.

7. Mesajların ve verilerin saklanması

Mesajlar en fazla 3 gün saklanır ve sonra silinir; önemli içerikleri kendiniz kaydetmelisiniz. Ayrıntılar Gizlilik Politikası ve KVKK Aydınlatma Metni’ndedir.

8. Fikri mülkiyet

Tolka uygulaması, adı, logosu ve içeriği bize aittir. Size, hizmeti kişisel kullanımınız için devredilemez, münhasır olmayan, geri alınabilir bir kullanım hakkı veririz. Kendi mesajlarınızın ve içeriğinizin hakları size aittir; hizmeti sunabilmemiz için bunları çevirme ve iletme amacıyla işlememize izin verirsiniz.

9. Hizmetin kullanılabilirliği

Hizmeti kesintisiz veya hatasız sunmayı hedefleriz; ancak bakım, arıza, üçüncü taraf hizmet sağlayıcı sorunları veya yoğunluk nedeniyle kesintiler olabilir. Yoğunluk durumunda yeni aramalar sıraya alınabilir veya geçici olarak sınırlandırılabilir.

10. Sorumluluğun sınırı

Hizmet “olduğu gibi” ve “mevcut haliyle” sunulur. Yasaların izin verdiği ölçüde; çevirideki hatalardan, hizmetin kesintiye uğramasından, üçüncü kişilerin eylemlerinden veya dolaylı zararlardan sorumlu değiliz. Sorumluluğumuz, yasaların izin verdiği ölçüde, son 12 ayda hizmet için ödediğiniz tutarla sınırlıdır. Tüketici mevzuatından doğan, sınırlanamayacak haklarınız saklıdır.

11. Sona erme

Hesabınızı istediğiniz zaman silebilirsiniz. Bu şartlara aykırı davranırsanız hesabınızı kapatabiliriz. Sona erme, önceden doğmuş hak ve yükümlülükleri etkilemez.

12. Değişiklikler

Bu şartları güncelleyebiliriz. Önemli değişiklikleri uygulama içinde duyururuz. Değişiklikten sonra hizmeti kullanmaya devam etmeniz yeni şartları kabul ettiğiniz anlamına gelir.

13. Uygulanacak hukuk ve yetki

Bu şartlara Türkiye Cumhuriyeti hukuku uygulanır. Uyuşmazlıklarda, tüketici mevzuatındaki yetki kuralları saklı kalmak üzere, kullanıcının yerleşim yerindeki tüketici mahkemeleri ve hakem heyetleri ile Tolka’nın bulunduğu yerdeki mahkemeler yetkilidir.

Terms of Use

Last updated: November 2026. By using Tolka you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

1. The service

Tolka is a communication app that live-translates written messages, voice and video calls, and meetings of 2–10 people, so that everyone understands in their own language. It is provided through the web app and store apps. We may change features, supported languages and usage limits over time.

2. Account

• To open an account you must be over 16 and give accurate information.
• You are responsible for the security of your account and password, and for actions taken with your account.
• You may not transfer your account to or share it with anyone else.
• You can delete your account any time in Settings; this cannot be undone.

3. Minutes and payment

• Voice and video calls, meetings and the face-to-face interpreter are charged in minutes.
• One-to-one calls: the caller pays. Each minute of the call deducts 1 minute from the caller; the person being called pays nothing, this use is our gift to them.
• Meetings: the person who opened the meeting (the host) pays. Each minute of the meeting deducts as many minutes as there are people in it other than the host. Example: a meeting of 5 people including the host that lasts 1 minute deducts 4 minutes from the host. Participants pay nothing, this use is our gift to them. If the number of people changes during the meeting, the current number is used.
• Face-to-face interpreter: only the time actually spoken and translated is deducted from the person using the app.
• Calls in the same language also use minutes.
• Minutes are deducted per second while a call runs. When your minutes run out, the call ends.
• Minute packages are bought through the app store’s own purchase system (Apple, Google, Microsoft, Huawei). Payment, price, tax and refund terms follow that store’s rules.
• Purchased minutes cannot be transferred to another account or refunded as money; your legal rights and the store’s refund rules remain.
• When your account is deleted, remaining minutes are deleted.

4. Important notice about translation

• Translations are produced automatically by AI and can be wrong, incomplete or misleading. Background noise, accent, fast speech and connection quality affect the result.
• Do not rely on translation alone for medical, legal, emergency, safety or financial conversations.
• Do not share confidential information, trade secrets, passwords, card or ID details. Your speech is sent to providers to be transcribed and translated.
• We give no guarantee about the accuracy or suitability of translations.

5. Prohibited use

You must not:

• share illegal content, threats, harassment, hate speech, violence or content that exploits children;
• commit fraud or deception, send spam, or impersonate others or create fake identities;
• call someone without consent, harass them repeatedly or record their conversations without permission;
• try to access someone else’s account without permission;
• overload or disrupt the service, abuse it with automated tools, bypass security measures or reverse-engineer it;
• use the service for any illegal purpose.

We may restrict, suspend or close accounts that break these rules without prior notice. You can use the block feature to block other users.

6. Meetings

• A meeting can have at most 10 participants.
• Only users with an account can join, with the code or link given by the organiser. You are responsible for whom you share the code with.
• The organiser starts, ends and deletes the meeting. When the organiser leaves, the meeting ends for everyone.
• Meeting minutes are deducted from the organiser, not from participants.

7. Keeping of messages and data

Messages are kept for at most 3 days and then deleted; you should save important content yourself. Details are in the Privacy Policy and the Data Protection Notice.

8. Intellectual property

The Tolka app, its name, logo and content belong to us. We give you a non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the service for personal use. You keep the rights to your own messages and content; to let us provide the service you allow us to process them to translate and deliver them.

9. Availability

We aim to provide the service without interruption or errors, but there may be interruptions due to maintenance, faults, third-party provider problems or heavy load. When it is busy, new calls may be queued or temporarily limited.

10. Limit of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for errors in translation, interruptions, actions of third parties or indirect damages. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the last 12 months. Your non-excludable rights under consumer law remain.

11. Termination

You can delete your account any time. If you breach these terms we may close your account. Termination does not affect rights and obligations that arose earlier.

12. Changes

We may update these terms and will announce important changes in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. For disputes, subject to the jurisdiction rules of consumer law, the consumer courts and arbitration committees at the user’s place of residence and the courts where Tolka is located are competent.
